Climate and energy policy professor Marilyn Brown has been named an inaugural ambassador in U.S. Department of Energy / MIT Women in Clean Energy Program for the United States.

Clean Energy Speaker Series Begins Sept. 28

Whether it’s natural gas or nuclear power, clean energy alternatives are a hot topic with everyone from legislators to small business owners.    

“By creating and hosting the Clean Energy Speaker Series, Georgia Tech is providing a neutral, open forum where everything from national security and economic development issues related to energy can be discussed,” said Ben Hill, director of the Clean Energy Speaker Series program.

ACC $100K Clean Energy Challenge Open for Business (Ideas)

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), of which Georgia Tech is a member through the National Collegiate Athletic Association, is now accepting entries to its new business plan competition, the $100K ACC Clean Energy Challenge.
