From research to grand challenges, documentary films to exercise, the Earth Day Planning Committee has put together a week of free events for the entire campus community to enjoy.
Tech may be the last place you would expect to discover the intersection of
fashion and sustainability, but the unusual collaboration will take place on
campus as part of Think Green Week. For
the first time ever, Georgia Tech is partnering with Bauder College of Fashion
to present a sustainable fashion show featuring vintage, repurposed and couture
unique fashion event, Throwaway Runway, will take place on Thursday, April 21,
from 11 a.m. – noon at the Georgia Tech Student Center.
Georgia Tech students, faculty and staff are invited to join the Earth Day Planning Committee. Members are expected to attend weekly meetings during the spring semester (on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and actively participate in the planning of the 15th Annual Earth Day Celebration and Think Green Week events, which will be held from April 16 to 20.
